SWIM SKILLS

The Swim Skills squad builds on the foundations developed in the Penguins squad, helping swimmers further develop their technique, confidence and commitment within a structured club environment.

As part of the KUHSC academy pathway, Swim Skills supports swimmers as they continue progressing through the early stages of club swimming. Sessions focus on refining stroke technique across all strokes, improving core swimming skills and developing greater awareness of training habits such as pacing, lane discipline and working effectively within a squad.

The squad also encourages swimmers to continue gaining experience in the club’s competitive environment through participation in club galas and events. Swim Skills prepares swimmers for progression into the club’s development squads as their skills, fitness and commitment continue to grow.
