The Aquatic Abilities squad provides an inclusive and supportive environment for swimmers within the para community or those with intellectual disabilities who wish to enjoy swimming as part of the KUHSC programme.
The squad welcomes swimmers of all abilities who have a passion for swimming and want to develop their skills in a positive and encouraging setting. Sessions focus on improving confidence in the water, developing swimming technique and helping swimmers experience the physical, mental and social benefits of being part of a swimming club.
Coaches and volunteers work closely with swimmers to provide personalised support and guidance, helping each individual progress at their own pace while building confidence and independence in the water. The squad promotes respect, teamwork and inclusivity, ensuring all swimmers feel valued and supported within the club community.
Aquatic Abilities offers swimmers the opportunity to improve their swimming skills, develop friendships and enjoy the many benefits of swimming within a welcoming and inclusive club environment.
